I get a sense that there is an intentional increase of electronic/industrial aspects to the songs on this E.P. Less pronounced than Satriani's "Engines of Creation" but noticable nonetheless. So I wonder if this EP, following their awesome full-length earlier this year, is a bit of a studio exploration of some new sounds/technology. Some nice instrumental songs here nonetheless. ... about the most technical "progressive music" can get without sacrificing harmony, melody, and soul / feel. Favorite tracks : All of them. tooljirashugg
The most insane and beautiful instrumental album i have ever heard. Stephen is super talented. The atmosphere is unmatched, i could go on and on about how much i love this album. sprankton
The Philly trio have been making technical but not impenetrable instrumental metal for nearly two decades. Their latest shreds, of course. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 8, 2016
In all music, I believe it is crucial to have fun, not matter how serious the music is... :) In fact, you could even say this applies to everything! A lot of people forget this sometimes. Not these guys & certainly not here! This is so playful & addictive, just like Arrogant Bastard said, it is *such* a fun ride you just have to go! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
